Today I want to share with you the story behind the card! Not all my cards have stories behind them, but the ones that do, I thought it would be a fun new series to share with all of you.

The card: Hate Birthdays

The story: My boyfriend and I have been together for about 5 years and our birthdays are just 2 days apart. I personally LOVE birthdays. I love my own, I love everyone else's I think it's such a fun day to celebrate that you're a special person in this world. Plus a great excuse to get your friends and family together!

My boyfriend on the other hand HATES birthdays. He would prefer no one knew his birthday, there were no forced celebrations and don't even get me started on the one time I tried to get him to blow out birthday candles. All he wants is to watch (or play) golf, without any distractions, and an Old Fashioned in hand. No attention, no celebration, just silence and a good drink. 

So there you have it. I made this card for him and figured he's probably not the only one and decided to add it to the Teluna collection. "Happy Birthday To the man who hates birthdays May you be left alone and enjoy your drinks in silence." 😂
